Bendoran Boatyard
Bendoran was once a thriving boatyard and known as one of the most sheltered anchorages on the West Coast of Scotland. In October 2019, with the support of the Scottish Land Fund, SWMID purchased the 2 acre shoreside site on behalf of the local community.
Although in need of substantial redevelopment, SWMID has a long-term vision for the site to become a multi-use resource offering opportunities for employment, training, facilities for local people and an exciting addition to the local tourism offer.
