A Vital Community Role - become a Director or sub-group member!
Are you inspired by SWMID's projects and interested in driving them forward?
SWMID has a chair and board of directors who develop plans and projects along with the staff working on and supporting particular sub-groups. Directors each sit on at least one sub-group along with other group members and if appropriate a member of staff to manage and develop the projects.
Did you know that you don’t have to be a director to sit on a sub-group?
If you are excited by one or more of our projects and want to be involved, but are not able to commit to being a director, you can still join a sub-group! We are looking for people who have the time and enthusiasm to help with the development of projects. Expertise is nice to have, but by no means essential!
