Everyone is welcome to join us for an Open Day at Tiroran Community Forest on Sunday 4th June, 12pm to 4pm.
We are creating a Masterplan for the forest, based on the ideas that local people have put forward over the past ten years (even before the forest was in community ownership!) - from a visitors centre, to hut sites, cabins and a forest enterprise facility.
Come along and see what is already happening in the forest and our proposals for the future; bring the masterplan to life with a guided tour; see our sawmill in action and find out about our Biochar retort; bring a picnic lunch - hot drinks and cake will be provided!
We hope you can make it, but if not the plans will be available online for two weeks after the event.
