To support the growth of our young community garden we are raising funds to buy a polytunnel to shelter plants and people!
The Ross of Mull Community Garden, now one year old, is a vibrant and welcoming space that has grown out of the community's desire to create somewhere for local people, from the youngest to the oldest, to meet, to learn and to grow things together: vegetables, flowers, fruit and herbs. We want to reduce food miles while increasing local food resilience: very important given our remote location.
A polytunnel will increase the range of produce grown, will extend the growing season and will provide a dry, warm place for people to come together to work and play in all weathers.
Please help us raise the funds we need! Click on the link below and it will take you to our polytunnel fundraiser page.
It is also possible to make a donation directly via bank transfer. Please contact Saskia, our administrator, admin@swmid.co.uk to arrange payment.
Many, many thanks. Any donation you can give will be much appreciated.
