Recruiting for Community Garden Project Worker

Thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, SWMID are excited to be advertising for a Community Garden Project Worker! Based at the Ross of Mull Community Garden, located in the grounds of the Ross of Mull Historical Centre in Bunessan, the post-holder will be responsible for managing and developing the garden into a thriving local hub.

We are looking for someone with gardening experience, who supports the ethos of SWMID and who enjoys working with groups of people of all ages.  If you love gardening, are keen to communicate your passion to everyone in the community and would relish the opportunity to manage this new and exciting project, please apply!

The successful candidate will be employed for 20 hours per week, for a period of 3 years, with a salary of £22,000 per annum pro rata. (£11,733 actual salary). If appointed, you will be automatically enrolled in the Nest Pension Scheme to which SWMID contributes.
