Funding for Garden Project Worker

Thank you to Emily our local ranger for this lovely photo of children enjoying activities in the community garden last summer.

Thanks to a generous grant from The National Lottery Communities Fund we are delighted to announce that we will be recruiting a part-time Garden Project Worker to start in early summer. Continuing on from the amazing work that has already taken place, the new worker will support the Ross of Mull Community Garden‘s development over the next three years. The focus of the role will be working with volunteers to create a lovely outdoor hub where everyone in the community feels welcome.  Activities and events held at the garden will bring people of all ages together to meet, work and learn, reducing social isolation and enhancing wellbeing.

Recruitment will start very soon we hope to have someone in place at the start of June!
